
Tarlan Razzaghi
Senior Counsel
Tarlan is an experienced lawyer in regulatory, litigation and dispute resolution processes. She has been providing Indigenous communities with strategic legal advice on rights and title recognition and protection and consultation and accommodation in the context of natural resource and energy developments for over a decade. She takes a client-driven approach and is a fierce advocate for Indigenous clients to be heard and interests respected before regulators, government agencies and in the courtroom.
Tarlan grew up in the traditional territories of the Siksika, the Piikani, Kainai First, Tsuut’ina and the Stoney Nakoda First Nations in the City of Calgary. After attending law school at the University of Alberta and practicing law for several years in Treaty 6 Territory, she moved to the lands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) in 2016 in pursuit of her practice in Aboriginal law.
